Well it seems to have been a long time since I've posted. Sorry about that. School's started for me, and so far it's been good. I might even stretch to say it's been sorta fun. The only newest thing that's going on in my life is my pets. No, we haven't gotten a new animal, but I was realizing what a blessing animals are.
Whenever my dog Marty(shown below) sees me crying, he'll come up to me and wag his tail and lick my hand, and somehow it's really comforting. My cat, Pardalis, on the other hand, (who is highly selfish) will allow me to hold him (sometimes) and even that's a comfort. On a VERY rare occasion, Pardalis (as shown above) will jump up on my bed and meow in my face. And just holding him really calms me down.
So I guess I just want to take the time to thank God for my pets; they've really helped me through alot of rough times. It's fun to know that God knew that we'd love animals. Unless, of course, you're frightened, or allergic to animals. In that case they can be your worst nightmare and a danger to your health. >_< P.S. But remember that God is our greatest comforter, and He can comfort us more than a dog or cat could. ^_^

I think you got it right, Abby. God gave us pets and they're something to be thankful about!
All comfort comes from God, whether directly or indirectly. Because the Scriptures say that EVERY good and perfect gift comes from the Father above in whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning. In other words, God's nature doesn't change!
