Who can measure the faithfulness of God???

YAY!! I remembered!! WOOOHOOOO!!! ahem... <:D Now what to post about?!?! <:( Ok well, this week has been a really big learning experience. For all of you who don't know, my recital for my hip hop class is coming up really soon and as most of my friends know, I've been super nervous. It will be my first time on stage, and I really don't want to mess up. So this last Monday I went to my hip hop class and worked with the rest of my class on getting the timing down. Let's just say I came away feeling really depressed and scared. My teacher said that my insecurity was holding me back from doing really well. I was super bummed because I already knew that and I was hoping that she hadn't noticed. I've seemed to always have a problem with low self esteem, and it really disturbed me to realize that it's really been hindering me.

So, I went home and talked to my mom and my sister Sam. They both said that I should trust God and give over the whole performance to Him. I already knew this, but it's always good to hear it again. What you have to realize as a Christian is that Satan will always be testing you, seeing if you really believe what you're saying. I was saying at the beginning of my dance class that I'll just trust God about my whole dance routine, but then as it got closer and closer to the dance date I got more and more nervous.

No I'm not saying "just trust God" because even though that's totally correct, I've already said that in other posts! What I'm saying is, be consistent. Stick with it. Don't give up. I'm back to believing God and I'm trusting that I'm going to do well in the show; let me tell you, I don't feel half as nervous as I did before. I just feel calm now. I have little bouts of nervousness, but I just bind them and say "Nope, I'm going to do well in the show and I'm not going to be nervous". It works, trust me. Don't let yourself fall into doubt and unbelief.

Sorry about all the scripture!! I just couldn't stop posting one more!! ^_^ These are really good! So be consistent. Don't give up. You totally feel worse when you stop believing God, and I know that I feel better when I'm trusting God. Just think on the faithfulness of God, and all the stuff He's done in the past for you!

Great post, kiddo. Scripture verses build people's faith and feed the spirit of man, so no apology is necessary! I'm really, really happy that you have peace about your dance routine, now. Praise the Lord!

Great post, Abby-girl. You'll be a wonderful teacher!

Did you know that you had NO problems with insecurity when you were little? You were BOLD and unapologetic about it. Made a lot of people grin. =P
